Granny Square Beanie - a quick and easy winter warmer.

I knitted up this thick and thin yarn beanie in an evening. The only tricky part is the pick ups along the edges of the square - if you feel confident, forge ahead! The hat is light and scrunches up into a very small space. It now lives in Victoria with one of my Australian grandchildren. There is no sewing involved!
