Well, after my last post, my dear mother did not live much longer, and although I'm sure she had no wish to live with increasing amounts of handicap, we all miss her dearly. A bit of light went out of my life with her death, so it's been a real block landing on this page and seeing that last post.
Today, however, I'm really excited about the switch to making new wool editions available on my online store at last. It's been a long time coming and I know I've made lots of previous promises that I would get to this stage, but it's really happening next Monday so woohoo! If you don't already know, I now live in an even more rural situation in Southland (yes, we've left our lovely little church behind for a 1920s cottage) so are a lot more remote than we were previously. This means that I can't get my parcels out as regularly as I used to, particularly international parcels. I can drop NZ parcels at the local store (10km away) but international parcels can only be dispatched at Winton, which is a half hour drive away, so that means I can't do that more than every week to ten days. With the present world situation, parcels are inevitably taking longer in many cases (but this is very unpredictable - some aren't) so I'm sorry my change of address has added to that. Anyhow, onwards and upwards, we all hope. Until next time, take care, and happy crafting to you all! Kate
