Wool for Felters
My Merino slivers are suitable for wet felting and needle felting - non-superwash, carded and gilled. Choose from 19-21 micron merino, carded and double-gilled or 22 micron combed tops - great for soft, drapeable scarves, mitts, fine jackets and even baby clothes! See my project pages for or felt gallery for ideas. Check out the hints and tips section for basic feltmaking info.
Heavenly Wools slivers are great for needle felting. Check out my single colours for a range of semi-solid options, or buy a mix and pick out or mingle shades! Heavenly Wools fibres are small-batch dyed, so no two batches are identical, although shades are always very close between batches. Wool is available in 100gr multiples.
Visit the Colourways page to see the variety of colours available, and to download my brochure of current colours. Don't see what you want? Contact me to discuss a custom colourway. Subscribe to my newsletter to be kept up to date. Come back to Heavenly Wools often to catch up on new colours, my blog, or useful hints and tips!

Custom Colours
Sometimes the listed colours just don't fit the bill.
I needed a dark tone to set off the beehive coils of this Bromeliad colourway spun in Corriedale. I amped up the saturation of Earth and dyed the very dark chocolate brown seen in the finer ply. If you have a special colour in mind and you don't see it here, ask me about a custom colour. This is a free service, so don't be shy! Bought wool from me? Please let me know how I did - go to the 'Help Make Me Better' page and fill in the survey form. It'll only take a minute! The survey form is completely anonymous. |
